With an interdisciplinary creative background spanning photography, design, writing, and acting, Adrian brings a uniquely diverse skillset to his directing and filmmaking work. No stranger to entertainment, Adrian was raised in Ridgewood, NJ and Los Angeles, CA by showbiz parents (his mother an actor, his father a camera operator) and he first fell in love with collaborative media while performing in school plays and making camcorder videos in elementary school.
Adrian moved to San Francisco in 2003 to study at the San Francisco Art Institute where he attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and then began his career at creative agency Free Range Studios in Oakland. Since he began working as a freelance writer and director in 2013, he has written, produced, directed, and edited narrative, commercial, and editorial works in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and internationally for clients large and small.
Adrian’s irreverent comedy pilot “This Isn’t Me” was an official selection at SXSW 2020, and also won Best Comedy Pilot and Best Actor at Catalyst Content Festival 2019.
His 85 houseplants have made him a neighborhood curiosity, and you can find him at his local rock climbing gym most days after work. He lives in Los Angeles.
